Akihiro Tawara is a postdoctoral research fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. He received his PhD degree in the History of Science from the University of Tokyo in 2015. He is making short research visits to the University of Jyväskylä in the JSPS-ERC exchange scheme.
